Coco has superior bird dog lineage on both sides of her pedigree. Her father, NGDC NAGDC FC AFC Peter Gunn, was the first dog to win both the American Brittany Club National Open Gun Dog and National Amateur Gun Dog Championships. Peter Gunn remains the only Brittany to win these titles in the same year. Coco’s mother was sired by the 2012 American Brittany Club National Gun Dog Champion Runner-up DC AFC This Gambler's Fly'n.
Coco is a natural bird dog. Although we had no prior field trial handling or hunting experience, Coco won three of six derbies in which she competed.
Coco has a very strong desire to hunt and tremendous stamina. She ranges well out and has an independent style. With training (of both her and us) Coco has become a partner and is a marvel in the field.
Coco is extremely trainable, athletic, nimble and intelligent. These attributes have allowed her to also succeed in agility competitions, including winning High In Trial for the Open division at the 2020 Brittany National agility trials.

Reasons to Breed Coco
Coco is a high-energy, driven bird dog that was sired by a legendary field champion. Her desire to find birds is endless. Coco’s ability to learn and crisply follow commands is amazing. She also has excellent body awareness, which has led to her success in agility events. These attributes and her genetic background compel us to breed Coco.
We want to breed Coco because she is a power-pack in the field and always at attention in our yard yet she loves affection while inside our home.
Coco has a huge amount of heart. She does not quit in the field.
Coco is on the smaller end of the breed standard and this makes Coco great for those who do not want the physical challenges of a a large, highly-muscled hunting dog.
We believe the size and exceptional field qualities of Coco will combine well with the physical attributes of Rowdy to produce great bird dogs, some of whom could be excellent conformation dogs.
